Process
How counselling works
01
Contact
You get in touch with no obligation. In a short exchange we clarify whether and how counselling might fit your situation.
02
Understanding
In conversation we jointly make sense of what moves you – thoughts, feelings, patterns and the context of your everyday life.
03
Your own paths
From this, new perspectives and concrete possibilities for action emerge that you can pursue at your own pace.
The steps are deliberately simple. You, your questions and your pace are at the centre.
My approach
Understand what moves you. Shape what is possible.
Counselling connects scientifically grounded psychology with philosophical reflection as well as resource- and solution-oriented approaches. Clarity, resilience and concrete next steps take centre stage.
It is not about analysing problems endlessly. Together we understand what moves you, embrace what is, and develop possibilities for action that fit your situation – calmly, respectfully and on equal footing.
Why WeitSinn?
As early as 1825, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe contrasted the notions of narrowness and far-sightedness (Beschränktheit und Weitsinn) in his work «Serbische Lieder».
For me, Weitsinn means thinking beyond one’s own horizon, taking different perspectives and questioning familiar patterns of thought.
This stance also shapes my psychological counselling: understand what moves you, embrace what is, and discover new possibilities for action.

About me

Tam Nguyen
Psychologist lic. phil. | Executive Coach
I completed my studies in psychology at the University of Bern with the Lizentiat. My focus areas were work and organisational psychology as well as clinical psychology.
Over many years I have accompanied people and teams in companies as well as with personal concerns, including in international and intercultural contexts. These experiences have sharpened my eye for how differently people think, feel and deal with challenges.
My aim is not to prescribe ready-made answers or paths, but to understand together what moves you, to embrace what is, and from there to develop new possibilities for action.
For executives: I offer executive coaching and support for management teams through TaVyro .
